Eat smaller meals more frequently to help your body maintain the energy it needs throughout the day, especially when you are working out.

Combine the gym, your diet and your mind frame and you have the recipe for the best way to build muscle and keep it. Do not over do your exercising and do not buy into those powders that claim you will gain muscle mass. You actually will have to do the work in order for you to build your muscles.
